We are looking for a skilled Integral Fuel Cell Technician to become part of our Joint and Installation team.

In this position, you will be integral to the assembly and integration of key components necessary for constructing and attaching major wing assemblies.

Your role will involve executing procedures related to fuselage and wing assembly, as well as the installation and modification of plumbing, electrical systems, and structural components.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and understand technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
  • Utilize chemical lubricants, solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints, and specialized finishes.
  • Employ computers within a production setting.
  • Assemble and install parts, structural components, and sub-assemblies for major wing assemblies, including sealing, plumbing systems, and electrical components.
  • Operate various hand tools, including drills and high-impact vibratory tools, as well as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and crimpers.
  • Conduct quality inspections and check for Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
  • Utilize mechanical lifts such as scissors lifts and elevated work platforms.
  • Work in confined spaces of wing fuel cells for extended durations.
  • Engage in physical activities including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling weights between 10-35 pounds.
  • Perform climbing, crawling, and crouching tasks as required.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Ability to access and enter a wing fuel tank opening.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with handheld power tools.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience following both oral and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in assembly or mechanical roles.
  • 1+ years of experience operating heavy machinery.
  • 1+ years of experience in aerospace, automotive, robotics, or related fields.

Education:
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required.

Work Environment:
This position requires onsite work at designated locations.
