Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. As a Psychiatric Services LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the mental health needs of our community.
About the JobThe successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Registered Professional Nurses in delivering individualized patient care, utilizing the nursing process to address the unique needs of each patient. This includes assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist RNs in providing patient care and support.
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Current licensure as an LPN in the State of Vermont or eligibility for licensure.
- Graduate of an approved School of Practical Nursing.
- Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills.
- Able to institute life-saving measures.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills required.
- Moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.
Salary: $21.30 - $31.49 per hour. Pay range is competitive and commensurate with experience.
