Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Account Executive to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our dynamic insurance team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier commercial insurance solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Management: Accurately input policy updates and account information, ensuring seamless policy management and minimizing errors.
  • Client Communication: Engage with clients, producers, and carrier underwriters to address policy and coverage-related inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships.
  • Marketing & Quoting: Lead the marketing and quoting process for new business and account renewals, leveraging your technical expertise to identify opportunities and drive growth.
  • Renewal Management: Identify, compile, and oversee information regarding account renewals, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain consistent and timely communication with agency clients and carrier representatives, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Business Development: Contribute to new business acquisition, leveraging your industry knowledge and network to drive growth and revenue.
Requirements
  • Licensing: Hold a valid Property & Casualty Insurance license.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an independent agency or retail brokerage.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage and rating.
  • Carrier Interaction: Proven experience working with various carriers and engaging directly with their underwriters.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with online rating software and various insurance carrier online systems.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in using insurance software, including Applied TAM, EPIC, or AMS360.
  • Microsoft Office: Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Existing Book of Business: Possession of an existing book of business is a significant advantage.
