The Role:
As a Café Attendant at Known, you will foster a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere in our company café, delivering all offerings with personalized attention to our employees and visitors, while representing our brand with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and close the café each day.
- Engage warmly with a diverse clientele.
- Exhibit a strong passion for coffee.
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages.
- Maintain and operate all café equipment responsibly.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including espresso machines and utensils.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with courtesy and efficiency.
- Serve patrons promptly and effectively.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Be actively present in the café area.
- Conduct daily maintenance of the coffee bar, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Communicate and collaborate with management and facilities staff, providing essential feedback.
- Assist in inventory management and supply ordering.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and listening abilities.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service.
- Quick learner with self-motivation.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Basic math skills.
- Proficient problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
