About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Edera, a leading clinical care delivery affiliate. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in conducting assessments for Veterans leaving military service or applying for disability benefits from the VA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Face-to-Face Assessments: Perform in-clinic assessments/evaluations with Veterans to complete the required Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) for submission to VA for eligibility determination.
  • Prepare and Deliver Exceptional Veteran Care: Prepare for and deliver exceptional Veteran care during all interactions, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and adherence to clinical standards.
  • Submit Accurate Documentation: Complete and submit all required documentation expeditiously and accurately, including DBQs in the required format.
  • Collaborate with Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to Veterans.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: Possess a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as nursing or a related healthcare discipline.
  • Family or Adult Certification: Hold a current certification in family or adult medicine, such as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) certification.
  • Active Nurse Practitioner License: Possess an active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of employment.
  • Experience and Skills: Have at least 1 year of experience in primary care/internal medicine/occupational medicine, with a strong track record of providing high-quality care to Veterans and/or working with the VA and/or federal health organizations.
