Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Grady Health System. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to critically ill patients in our ICU setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of critically ill patients
  • Order and conduct diagnostic and laboratory tests as needed
  • Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments to manage patient care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, consultation, and education to patients and families
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Master's degree as a Physician Assistant
  • Two or more years of experience as a critical care nurse or two years serving as a Physician Assistant
  • Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse (for NPs)
  • Current Georgia authorization/certification as a NP Advanced Practice Registered Professional Nurse
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician's Assistant specializing in critical care services for in-patient settings
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) certifications
