The Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) is responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional, patient-focused care and overseeing all operational functions within the unit during the assigned shift.

Working collaboratively with the management team, the CNL directs, monitors, and assesses nursing care in line with established protocols, serves as a resource for staff, and exemplifies a commitment to the organization's vision and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

The CNL also plays a vital role in the admission and discharge processes to facilitate efficient patient flow and maintain high-quality care.

In partnership with the management team, the CNL contributes to the ongoing evaluation of patient care quality within the unit.

They support facility engagement initiatives by implementing current nursing strategies, including employee and hourly rounds.

Additionally, the CNL provides input on recruitment, selection, and training of new staff, and recommends actions related to training, conflict resolution, and compliance with personnel policies.

They assist with staff scheduling and manage labor resources in accordance with patient care requirements and productivity standards.

Furthermore, the CNL supports inventory management and oversees supplies and equipment.
