About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Director, K-12, Strategic Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders at schools, districts, and/or states within an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute district and/or state strategies to drive business growth and successful implementation of College Board programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key officials, including school administrators, district leaders, and state agency stakeholders.
  • Conduct outreach and engagement with existing, new, and previous state/district partners to identify new opportunities and cultivate partnerships.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to monitor progress toward goals, manage account plans, and proactively identify opportunities and tasks.
  • Support the wider sales team in transactional or operational tasks and contribute to divisional or regional projects assigned by leadership.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a passion for education and a deep commitment to the College Board's mission. You should have:

  • At least 5 years of relevant and progressive experience in education or a related field, with direct experience in assessment, curriculum, or student achievement initiatives highly desired.
  • A strong track record of building deep and meaningful relationships, influencing others to action, and effectively handling multiple situations simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including developing and leading presentations, and the ability to analyze and succinctly summarize key data points to present key findings to constituents.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills, with the proven ability to move forward multiple time-sensitive projects in concert, both independently and as a member of the team.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft applications, and experience using customer relationship management systems like Salesforce.
