About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Blue Origin, where you will play a critical role in the development of our rocket engines. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our spacecraft and rocket propulsion systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for rocket engines, including analog instrumentation measurement circuits and actuator circuits.
  • Interpret systems engineering and quality requirements to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and implement design for test, manufacture, and cost (DFx) strategies to optimize product performance and reduce costs.
  • Manage design schedules and ensure timely delivery of avionics subsystems.
  • Present program status and issues to stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 7 years of professional experience.
  • Direct experience with analog and digital circuit design, analysis, test, and debug.
  • Expert knowledge of Op-Amp circuits and signal integrity principles.
  • Highly organized and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience designing electronics in a space radiation environment.
  • Proven expertise in crafting high-reliability, safety-critical board assemblies.
  • Knowledge of EMI issues related to precision analog or high voltage design.
