Electrical Design Engineer for Rocket Engines

At Blue Origin, we are pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of our rocket engines.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and be part of a team that is shaping the future of space travel. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our rocket engines, including analog instrumentation measurement circuits, actuator circuits, and power distribution systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for rocket engines, including analog instrumentation measurement circuits, actuator circuits, and power distribution systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that electrical systems meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.
  • Participate in design reviews and testing to ensure that electrical systems meet requirements and are safe for operation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical design and engineering.
Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2 years of direct experience in electronics hardware development.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing electrical systems for aerospace applications.
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, analysis, test, and debug.
  • Expert knowledge of Op-Amp circuits as applied to instrumentation measurements.
  • Knowledge of signal integrity, power, grounding, and general board layout principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
