Schulz Electric is actively seeking a Test Stand Operator who will be responsible for evaluating both incoming and outgoing motors while ensuring the quality of the completed work. The Test Stand Operator will engage in all phases of motor testing throughout the production process. This role reports to the Service Center Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct testing on induction, synchronous, shunt, series, and compound motors.
  • Perform load testing, Megger tests, DC and AC Hi-pot tests, surge tests, and bridge tests.
  • Execute brush seating on DC motors and conduct vibration analysis.
  • Maintain safety protocols while working around high voltage.
Applicants must be capable of walking, standing, climbing, lifting, and/or moving up to 50 pounds, as well as seeing, hearing, and using hands for handling or feeling and reaching with hands and arms. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Candidates should possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form. Problem-solving skills involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations are required. Mathematical proficiency, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, is necessary, along with the capability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages. A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience are mandatory.
