**Position Overview**
We are currently seeking a **Test Stand Operator** who will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our motors. This position involves comprehensive testing of both incoming and outgoing motors, ensuring that each unit meets our high standards of quality. The Test Stand Operator will engage in various testing phases throughout the production cycle, reporting directly to the Service Center Operations Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Conduct thorough testing of induction, synchronous, shunt, series, and compound motors.
  • Perform load testing, Megger tests, DC and AC Hi-pot tests, surge tests, and bridge tests.
  • Execute seating of brushes on DC motors and conduct vibration analysis.
  • Maintain a safe working environment around high voltage equipment.

**Qualifications**
Candidates must possess the ability to walk, stand, climb, lift, and/or move up to 50 pounds. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. The ideal applicant will demonstrate the capacity to apply common sense in executing instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Problem-solving skills are necessary for addressing issues involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations. Proficiency in basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, is required. A high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, is mandatory.
