Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team, focusing on the assembly of both new and refurbished submersible electric motor-driven pumps and related products. Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities including thorough inspection of components, assembly processes, mechanical and electrical testing, and meticulous documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections of parts and components.
- Assemble pumps according to specifications.
- Perform mechanical and electrical testing to ensure functionality.
- Document assembly processes and maintain accurate production logs.
- Identify and retrieve necessary parts for assembly.
- Prepare products for shipment and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Process necessary paperwork and modify parts as needed.
- Assist with facility maintenance and other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Hard Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical manufacturing or similar setting.
- Proficient in the assembly of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to adapt quickly and work independently with minimal training.
Job Type
This position is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity.
Work Environment
This role requires working on-site and involves handling pumps of various sizes, utilizing hand trucks or overhead cranes as necessary. Our company fosters a supportive and family-oriented culture, emphasizing wellness and performance, with regular wellness initiatives and company updates. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday.
