Global Business Development Director

Job Description
This role reports into the President and Managing Director and is responsible for leading sales success and driving new business growth in key markets across Fashion & Luxury, Lifestyle, Spirits & Hospitality, and the Tech & Auto industries. The ideal candidate will be able to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and guidelines for the agency, as well as provide training and guidance to the sales team to ensure alignment and success. This includes building relationships with prospective clients, identifying new business opportunities, and analyzing market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage sales, providing strategic direction, guidance, and support to drive performance and achieve sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives in collaboration with the Chief Client Officer to drive new business growth and expand our client base.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building in both markets.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and challenges to position our agency as a preferred partner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals that meet client objectives and exceed expectations.
- Manage the sales pipeline across both markets, tracking and prioritizing opportunities and driving timely follow-up and closure of deals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
- Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking functions in both markets to raise awareness, build relationships, and generate new business leads.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis on sales performance, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts to senior leadership.
- Develop comprehensive sales strategies and guidelines for the agency, outlining best practices, processes, and methodologies to drive sales effectiveness and efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to the sales team on the implementation and execution of sales strategies, ensuring alignment and consistency across the organization.
