Job Overview

Main Street Auto is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and approaching potential acquisition targets in the auto repair industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Approach Potential Acquisition Targets: Utilize market research and industry knowledge to identify auto repair shops that are potential acquisition targets.
  • Build and Manage Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with shop owners and key decision-makers to facilitate the acquisition process.
  • Negotiate Deals: Work closely with shop owners to negotiate deals and manage the acquisition process from start to finish.
  • Develop Market Strategies: Research and develop market strategies to identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience: A degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience in sales or account management.
  • Proven Track Record of Success: 3+ years of sales or account management experience with a proven track record of successful business development or sales.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Ability to Negotiate Deals: Ability to negotiate deals and manage the acquisition process from start to finish.
  • Strong Organizational and Project Management Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
