Position Overview:

Fidelity TalentSource LLC is in search of a seasoned Solution Architect to spearhead the comprehensive architecture for our Brokerage sector. This pivotal role involves collaborating closely with product teams within both retail investing (including brokerage accounts, managed services, and banking services) and workplace investing (such as 401ks and health-insurance related accounts) to craft solutions that align with business objectives and strategic initiatives.



Key Responsibilities:

As Fidelity embarks on a transformative journey, we are modernizing our content management system (CMS) by transitioning to a headless architecture. This position will be a hands-on role focused on shaping the technical experience architecture for content delivery, both pre and post-login. You will take charge of modernizing our user experiences to leverage our new CMS. This initiative represents a significant, long-term project, and we seek an individual who can envision and guide our engineering and product teams in realizing this new platform. Collaboration across various product areas and business units will be essential to ensure the new web platform is effectively utilized across the organization.

We are looking for a proven Solution Architect capable of leading and managing the end-to-end architecture across multiple teams in a complex environment.



Qualifications:

The following skills and experiences will be beneficial for success in this role:

  • Demonstrated expertise in architecture, emphasizing scalability, resilience, security, and data architecture.
  • Experience in engineering web and/or mobile applications from end to end, prioritizing customer experience, scalability, security, and performance.
  • Strong knowledge of API design principles and their applications.
  • Familiarity with enterprise API implementation, utilizing REST and GraphQL (federation).
  • Ability to deconstruct user interfaces into smaller, reusable components and manage large-scale migrations.
  • Understanding of reactive and functional programming concepts.
  • Experience in building highly scalable architectures to support omnichannel experience platforms.
  • Proficiency with NX generator, executor creation, and dependency graphs within NX monorepos.
  • Experience with enterprise CMS solutions such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Sitecore, or Contentful in a headless capacity.
  • Knowledge of Feature Flags and A/B Testing methodologies.
  • Experience in personalization strategies.
  • Expertise in image optimization and delivery.
  • Familiarity with I18N (Internationalization) and translation strategies.

Interview Process:

Expect an initial discussion with a Technical Recruiter regarding job expectations and employment requirements. Following this, you will engage with one of the Architecture Leads within the Fidelity Enterprise Architecture group. This will be followed by a multi-part interview involving discussions around end-to-end architectural solutions, technical expertise, and leadership scenarios with potential colleagues.
