Position Overview:

Fidelity TalentSource LLC is on the lookout for a seasoned User Experience Architect to spearhead the comprehensive architecture for our Brokerage sector. This pivotal role involves direct collaboration with product teams across various retail investing domains, including brokerage accounts, managed services, and banking services, as well as workplace investing sectors such as 401(k) plans and health-related accounts. Your mission will be to devise solutions that align with our business objectives and initiatives.



Key Responsibilities:

As Fidelity embarks on a transformative journey, we are modernizing our content management system (CMS) to overcome challenges related to risk management, market responsiveness, and satisfaction among developers and marketers. This role will be a hands-on position focused on enhancing the technical architecture of our content across both pre-login and post-login experiences. You will take charge of transitioning and modernizing our user experiences to integrate with our new CMS. This is a greenfield initiative that will span several years, and we seek an individual who can envision and guide our engineering and product teams in delivering this innovative platform. Collaboration across various product areas and business units will be essential to ensure the new web platform is effectively utilized throughout the organization.

In essence, we require a proven User Experience Architect capable of leading and managing the end-to-end architecture across multiple teams within a complex environment.



Desired Expertise:

The following skills will contribute to your success in this role:

  • Demonstrated experience in architecture, focusing on scalability, resilience, security, and data architecture.
  • Proficient in engineering web and/or mobile applications from end to end, emphasizing customer experience, scalability, security, and performance.
  • Strong understanding of API design principles and their applications.
  • Experience with enterprise API implementations utilizing REST and GraphQL (federation).
  • Ability to deconstruct user interfaces into smaller, reusable components and manage large-scale migrations.
  • Familiarity with reactive and functional programming concepts.
  • Experience in building highly scalable architectures to support omnichannel experience platforms.
  • Knowledge of NX generator, executor creation, and dependency graphs within NX monorepos.
  • Experience with enterprise CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Sitecore, or Contentful in a headless configuration.
  • Understanding of Feature Flags and A/B Testing methodologies.
  • Experience with Personalization strategies.
  • Expertise in image optimization and delivery.
  • Knowledge of I18N (Internationalization) and translation strategies.

What to Anticipate:

Your journey will begin with an initial discussion with the assigned Technical Recruiter to outline job expectations and employment requirements. Following this, you will engage with one of the Architecture Leads within the Fidelity Enterprise Architecture group. The process will culminate in a three-part multi-panel interview, where you will discuss scenarios and questions related to end-to-end architectural solutions, your technical background, and leadership topics with potential future colleagues.
