JCM Associates, Inc. is in search of a Procurement Support Specialist for our Purchasing Department. This is a full-time entry-level office role. While prior experience in procurement for a mechanical contracting or construction firm is advantageous, we are willing to provide training for the right individual.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Procurement Support Specialist will collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to facilitate essential field operations by sourcing materials for our numerous active construction projects. Responsibilities include:

  • Gaining expertise in the common materials we procure, particularly plumbing and mechanical components.
  • Establishing relationships with key suppliers and vendors to identify the best partners for specific orders.
  • Managing and processing daily orders from field teams to ensure timely fulfillment of material needs.
  • Reviewing bulk orders for accuracy and completeness, identifying errors and potential savings.
  • Utilizing our accounting system to maintain organized purchasing documentation and history.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in commercial construction, plumbing, mechanical contracting, or material procurement is preferred, though motivated entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
