Job Summary

Edgewood College seeks a visionary leader to direct its undergraduate Art Therapy Program. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, manage program operations, and foster a collaborative environment that promotes student success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement program goals, objectives, and assessments to ensure accreditation and licensure compliance.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise faculty and staff to deliver high-quality instruction and student services.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations to provide practicum and internship opportunities for students.
  • Advise students, mentor student art therapy club, and participate in college committee work.
  • Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and accreditation standards to ensure program excellence.

Qualifications

  • Masters in Art Therapy or related field from a CAAHEP-accredited program or Doctorate in a related field in a counselor education program.
  • ATR-BC (Registered and Board-Certified Art Therapist) or currently eligible for BC.
  • Licensed LPC, LPCC-S, or license eligible in Wisconsin (preferred).
  • At least three years teaching experience, preferably including graduate and undergraduate levels.
  • Recent art therapy clinical practice.
  • Active participation in state, national, and local professional organizations.
