Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement program goals, objectives, and assessments to ensure accreditation and licensure compliance.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise faculty and staff to deliver high-quality instruction and support services.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations to provide practicum and internship opportunities for students.
  • Advise students, facilitate student art therapy club, and participate in college committee work.
  • Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and accreditation standards to ensure program excellence.

Qualifications

  • Masters in Art Therapy or Doctorate in a related field from a CAAHEP-accredited program.
  • ATR-BC certification or eligibility, and LPC, LPCC-S licensure or eligibility in Wisconsin.
  • At least three years of teaching experience, preferably at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
  • Recent art therapy clinical practice and experience in program administration.
  • Active participation in state, national, and local professional organizations.
