Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team at Clear Channel Communications, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating advertising revenue and meeting sales targets through the creation and renewal of sales contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service and support.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to meet business objectives.
  • Oversee the sales process from start to finish, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Travel to client sites to showcase outdoor media opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of progressive sales experience, preferably in media sales.
  • Demonstrated track record of business-to-business sales experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with diverse customer groups.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software applications and social media platforms.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 15 pounds.
  • Ability to see written documents and computer screens, and to adjust focus.
  • This job is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.

Other Requirements:

  • Able to travel outside of the office at least 50% of the time for meetings and industry events.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
