Quality Assurance Engineer for Production Resilience

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in Production Resilience to join our team.

This role involves the application of quality management principles across various domains, including:

design, incoming materials, production oversight, product assessment, program efficiency, reliability, inventory management, and research and development as they pertain to product or process quality for both manufactured and procured items.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct technical assessments encompassing product specifications, models/designs, drawings, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and clients on quality-related matters to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Participate in product failure analyses, material review board evaluations, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Verify that corrective actions align with acceptable reliability benchmarks and comply with established requirements.
  • Formulate strategies and systems aimed at enhancing internal and supplier performance and productivity.
  • Assess quality systems to identify deficiencies and implement corrective measures.
  • Concentrate on the design and acceptance of tooling and testing setups.
  • Oversee and execute the formal sales process to government entities, ensuring proper documentation and product compliance.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field.

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience.


Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with formal sales processes to government entities.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards, including FARs/DFARs, government contracts, and corporate guidelines.

Work Environment:

The selected candidate will have a hybrid work schedule, splitting time between remote work and designated Lockheed Martin facilities.
