Position Overview
The ideal candidate is a proactive, high-energy individual with experience who will consistently support the Housekeeping team.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, attentively listen to their requests, respond appropriately, and provide accurate information.
- Maintain and service guest accommodations, including but not limited to:
- Changing bed linens and making beds
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Vacuuming carpets and rugs
- Emptying wastebaskets and ashtrays
- Transporting dirty linens
- Dusting and polishing surfaces and furniture
- Restocking bathroom supplies
- Ensuring mini bar standards are met
- Reporting any maintenance issues and technical needs
- Returning and restocking cleaning carts at the end of shifts
- Providing courteous and efficient responses at all times
- Performing any other assigned duties
- Effective listening, understanding, and clarification of concerns.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and resolving issues as needed.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a housekeeping role.
- Hotel experience is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate in the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Exhibits professionalism in all interactions.
- Dependable with a strong sense of urgency.
- Consistently maintains a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Regular attendance in accordance with scheduling requirements.
- Adheres to standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Maintains confidentiality of information.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Upholds high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
