Position Overview

The ideal candidate is a proactive, high-energy individual with experience who will consistently support the Housekeeping team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests, attentively listen to their requests, respond appropriately, and provide accurate information.
  • Maintain and service guest accommodations, including but not limited to:
  • Changing bed linens and making beds
  • Sweeping and mopping floors
  • Vacuuming carpets and rugs
  • Emptying wastebaskets and ashtrays
  • Transporting dirty linens
  • Dusting and polishing surfaces and furniture
  • Restocking bathroom supplies
  • Ensuring mini bar standards are met
  • Reporting any maintenance issues and technical needs
  • Returning and restocking cleaning carts at the end of shifts
  • Providing courteous and efficient responses at all times
  • Performing any other assigned duties
Required Skills
  • Effective listening, understanding, and clarification of concerns.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and resolving issues as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a housekeeping role.
  • Hotel experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate in the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Exhibits professionalism in all interactions.
  • Dependable with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Consistently maintains a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Regular attendance in accordance with scheduling requirements.
  • Adheres to standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Upholds high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
The pay rate for this position ranges from $28.40 to $37.87 per hour, subject to increases.
