At Sterling Crane LLC, we're seeking a seasoned professional to drive the profitable growth of our crane businesses within Marmon Crane Services. As the Vice President of Business Development, you'll be responsible for identifying and acquiring new customers, growing existing customer accounts, and integrating companies within the Crane Sector globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan for MCS, including both organic and inorganic sources of growth.
  • Manage a portfolio of customers and evaluate opportunities to grow and improve profitability.
  • Oversee major bid reviews, ensuring financial metrics are met or exceeded and contract terms and conditions align with MCS objectives.
  • Drive the Voice of Customer process for MCS and analyze opportunities for geographic and vertical market expansion.
  • Collaborate with business unit leadership and Sector resources to deliver analysis of acquisition targets.
  • Develop and manage the capabilities of the Global Business Development team.
  • Manage sales forecasting and develop key Business Development inputs for MCS Sector Budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • Extensive commercial leadership experience in the crane, construction, or related industries.
  • Experience working with large industrial customers in key vertical markets.
  • Merger and acquisition experience with deals up to $100 Million USD.

Individuals must be able to travel up to 75% throughout North America, Australia, and occasionally Europe/Asia.
