Job Overview

Sourceability is a global digital distributor of electronic components, revolutionizing the way modern businesses bring products to market. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Sales and Buyer Operations Specialist to drive sales and buying process optimization, ensuring seamless operations from lead generation to closing deals, and delivering products on time and at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Pipeline Analysis and Management
    • Analyze sales pipeline through leads, opportunities, and qualification stages to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and manage metrics for tracking sales performance, including quoting, cycle time, and profitability profiles.
    • Analyze closing process to optimize sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
  2. Buyer Operations
    • Develop a system for assessing how buyers locate supply sources and obtain competitive pricing.
    • Create measures to evaluate lead times and ensure timely delivery to clients.
  3. Process Optimization
    • Analyze each step of the sales and buying processes to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Provide guidance and predictive metrics to sales and buying teams to inform decision-making.
  4. Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Utilize Excel and PowerBI to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
    • Create reports for individuals, managers, and finance to enhance performance and predictability.
    • Develop SQL queries to extract and manipulate data as needed.
  5. Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with Executive leadership to align strategies and goals.
    • Communicate effectively with global sales and buying teams to ensure cohesive operations.
    • Deliver presentations to stakeholders, showcasing insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerBI for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong SQL skills are highly desirable.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with Executive leadership and global management teams.
  • Proven experience in sales operations, buying operations, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
