Position OverviewRole Summary: The Blood Collection Specialist - Mobile Team is tasked with the efficient collection, management, and transportation of blood samples for various healthcare settings. This role involves conducting a significant volume of specimen collections during peak hours across different locations.

Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED with formal training in Phlebotomy is essential.

Certification: Valid Phlebotomy certification is mandatory.

Experience: A minimum of three to six months of practical experience in Phlebotomy is required.

  • Proficient interpersonal skills for patient interactions, considering diverse cultural backgrounds and age groups.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required.

  • Self-motivated with the capability to identify and complete necessary tasks independently.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Phlebotomy techniques and proper specimen handling.
  • Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of Protected Health Information.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
Work Environment and Physical Demands: This role requires visual acuity and manual dexterity. The physical demands include a range of movements such as bending, lifting, standing, walking, and the ability to lift over 50 lbs. The position may also involve traveling to various locations for specimen collection.
