We are looking for a diligent and analytical Risk Assessment Specialist to evaluate and manage risks that may affect the organization's projects, transactions, and overall reputation. The successful candidate will work closely with risk management teams and senior executives to devise strategies that effectively minimize risks associated with various initiatives.
Core Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the formulation of processes, policies, and operational procedures.
- Support claims management and procedural development.
- Identify and assess potential risks and weaknesses in contracts, projects, and procurement activities.
- Collaborate with risk management personnel and leadership to develop and implement risk mitigation action plans.
- Collect and analyze diverse information sources to evaluate vendor risk exposure.
- Review and manage organizational policies to ensure thorough risk coverage.
- Conduct risk assessments and refine operational practices to reduce vulnerabilities.
- Analyze procurement activities to determine insurance requirements.
- Assess alternative insurance options and provide constructive feedback.
- Perform audits on procurement processes, scopes of work, and departmental requests.
- Effectively communicate risk management recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct analysis of insurance policy coverage.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management principles and industry standards.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CPCU or CRM.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for report generation and policy development.
