About the Role

The Regional Manager is a key leadership position at Marathon Health, responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple health centers within their assigned region. This role requires a strong leader who can drive business growth, improve patient satisfaction, and foster a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Performance
    • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction.
    • Manage staff development, training, and performance management to ensure high-performing teams.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and company policies.
    • Coordinate workflow, prioritize tasks, and make data-driven decisions to achieve business objectives.
  • Financial Performance
    • Manage operational costs, including labor, supplies, and other expenses, to meet budget targets.
  • Patient Satisfaction
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, including patient engagement and retention initiatives.
    • Monitor and analyze patient feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Patient Engagement
    • Develop and implement marketing and communication plans to increase patient participation and engagement.
    • Collaborate with marketing and member services teams to promote health center services.
  • Teammate Engagement
    • Recruit, select, and train clinical staff, including coaching, performance management, and discipline.
    • Provide direction, set goals, and objectives for direct reports and the team.
    • Oversee center staffing, ensuring adequate coverage and staffing levels to maintain patient access and provider support.
  • Client Relations
    • Compile, interpret, and deliver reports to clients, in collaboration with senior operations leadership and/or account management.
    • Address daily issues and concerns, ensuring best practices are implemented to improve services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration and 3-5 years of relevant healthcare operations experience.
  • Previous clinical management experience in a physician practice setting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong presentation, employee management, and project implementation skills.
  • Leadership and organization skills, with the ability to lead people, scale up teams, and develop and empower staff.
  • Action-oriented, with a proven track record of exceeding goals and making good decisions through analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment.
  • General management skills, with a thorough understanding of finance, systems, HR, and lean concepts.
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent writing, editing, and administrative skills.
