As a Junior Project Architect Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, assisting in the delivery of innovative solutions that meet clients' needs. Your responsibilities will include supporting the team in various stages of large-scale, intricate design projects from initial concept through to construction completion.

We are looking for a proactive team player with strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with colleagues, clients, consultants, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings and plans based on specifications provided by senior architects.
  • Analyze building codes, spatial and site requirements, and other technical documents to assess their impact on architectural designs.
  • Engage with external contacts, including clients, contractors, and engineers, to identify and resolve design-related issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including designers, production staff, project managers, and architects of record, to clarify design intent and enhance the documentation process.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with construction documents.
  • Review and provide feedback on applications for payment and change order requests.
  • Perform code analysis and develop strategies for compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Understanding of office standards and building codes.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
