Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide essential support to the advisory team; anticipate their needs.
  • Strategic Insight: Engage in proactive and analytical thinking to improve our operations.
  • Task Management: Organize and prioritize tasks, directing the advisor's focus where it is most needed.
  • Financial Plan Development:
    • Create precise financial plans using relevant software.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of planning strategies, risks, and opportunities in areas such as retirement, tax, estate, cash flow, asset allocation, and protection.
    • Oversee the execution of client planning strategies.
    • Proactively communicate with clients to formalize their financial plans and address service needs throughout the year.
    • Stay informed on trends in the financial planning sector.
  • Client Meeting Coordination: Keep abreast of client meetings, advisor priorities, and project timelines.
    • Prepare for and attend client meetings, take notes, follow up, and communicate with clients.
    • Participate actively in client and planning meetings, translating discussions into actionable strategies for data collection and analysis.
    • Develop client deliverables and reports in a timely, accurate, and informative manner.
    • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, understanding their unique circumstances and anticipating their needs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the industry as a paraplanner is required.
  • Relevant certifications such as FPQP, CFP, or AAMSSM are preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior relationship management capabilities.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, and financial planning software.
  • A collaborative team player eager to share knowledge and learn from others.
  • Able to be present and aware of team needs; focused on delivering quality work.
  • Possess a long-term perspective, recognizing future opportunities and excited to pursue them.
  • A strong client advocate who consistently follows through on commitments.
