Registered Psychology Associate
Flexible Full-time or Part-time Opportunities Available
As a Registered Psychology Associate, you will deliver therapeutic services to individuals and groups across various age groups within a clinical setting. You will collaborate closely with a Clinical Psychologist to conduct assessments and formulate behavior management strategies.
Primary Duties:
- Oversee a designated patient caseload for personalized therapy sessions
- Facilitate group therapy sessions as part of the inpatient therapeutic program
- Contribute to the development of treatment plans as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team
- Ensure effective communication with families and the treatment team to enhance patient care
- Create behavior management plans and provide training to staff on their execution
- Support crisis intervention efforts when required
- Document therapy notes on the same day services are rendered
- Participate in monthly and treatment team meetings, along with other mandatory gatherings
- Maintain precise record-keeping in compliance with Brook Lane policies and regulatory standards
- Assist with staffing needs in Partial Hospitalization or Residential Programs as necessary
Required Qualifications:
- Must hold Maryland Board of Examiners of Psychologists approval as a "Registered Psychology Associate"
- Intermediate proficiency in technology, including experience with electronic medical records
- Commitment to maintaining continuing education units (CEUs) for licensure
