Position Overview

Registered Psychology Associate
Full-time or Part-time opportunities available

As a Registered Psychology Associate, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals and groups across various age groups within a clinical setting. You will operate under the guidance of a licensed Clinical Psychologist, contributing to assessments and behavioral strategies.

Primary Duties:

  • Oversee a patient caseload for one-on-one therapy sessions
  • Facilitate group therapy as part of comprehensive inpatient treatment programs
  • Collaborate in creating treatment plans as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Communicate effectively with families and the treatment team to ensure optimal patient care
  • Design behavior modification plans and instruct staff on their execution
  • Provide support during crisis situations as needed
  • Complete therapy documentation on the same day as services rendered
  • Participate in monthly meetings, treatment team discussions, and other mandatory gatherings
  • Ensure precise record-keeping in line with Brook Lane's policies and regulatory standards
  • Assist with staffing needs in Partial Hospitalization or Residential Programs

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be recognized by the Maryland Board of Examiners of Psychologists as a "Registered Psychology Associate"
  • Proficient technology skills, including experience with electronic medical records
  • Ongoing maintenance of CEUs for licensure
