Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management

The ideal candidate will become a key member of the Global Systematic Stress Testing (GSST) team within the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) division. This role involves executing the target-state GSST program design, facilitating Consent Order remediation, and coordinating senior-level governance forums along with the Enterprise Risk Data Layer (ERDL) processes that support Citi's GSST Program. The position reports to the Strategy Lead, who in turn reports to the Head of ERA GSST.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a series of enterprise stress tests conducted on a monthly basis.
- Coordinate senior governance forums that oversee enterprise stress testing initiatives.
- Manage additional enterprise risk metrics, including Economic Risk Capital and Risk Appetite Ratio and Surplus.
- Engage closely with Risk Pool leads to manage various milestones and deliverables related to consent orders and target state priorities that support GSST infrastructure.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor and address concerns and constraints before escalation.
- Drafting and creating project plans and related documentation, including presentations and communications for senior stakeholders regarding the GSST program.
- Tracking the GSST Program plan, reporting status, managing governance forums, and prioritizing workflows and resource allocation.
- Establishing a consistent style and branding for presentations across the GSST Program.
- Supporting transformation initiatives, organizational change projects, and ongoing process enhancements.
- Utilizing comprehensive knowledge of business impacts related to process design and technical contributions to enhance governance and improve tasks supporting GSST & Scenario Change.
- Collaborating with various departments to identify challenges and propose solutions to facilitate organizational change.
- Leading daily activities to support resolution efforts and optimizing reporting processes for senior leadership.
- Contributing to the strategic vision of senior management.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Management Consulting, Risk, or Finance roles within large banking institutions. Experience in enterprise stress testing, data analysis, or modeling is highly advantageous.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to connect various aspects within a complex organization.
- Effective communicator, particularly in delivering presentations to senior audiences.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects under tight deadlines while balancing the needs of multiple senior stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and build partnerships with senior stakeholders to achieve common goals.
- Strong analytical skills to resolve issues in complex situations, with proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- History of delivering high-quality work in fast-paced environments.
- Self-starter with the capability to make decisions independently.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Visio, and other graphic tools to effectively communicate ideas and persuade senior audiences.
- Experience in people management is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with Citi's operations is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
