Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of Front Office Clerks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and leadership to Front Office Clerks to ensure consistent quality customer service is delivered.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management to resolve issues and provide excellent service.
  • Monitor lobby traffic and make staffing adjustments as needed to ensure efficient service.
  • Process guest registrations, check-ins, and check-outs in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage cash handling, including making change, balancing the house bank, and processing payments.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Two years of combined front desk and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to accurately handle cash and process payments.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and continuously perform behind the front desk.
