Overview:

Simpson Judge Ltd is seeking a distinguished Partner to enhance our esteemed legal team. The successful candidate will possess a significant book of business (at least $800K) in one or more of the following areas: Insurance Recovery, Commercial Litigation, or Corporate and Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management & Development: Utilize your established client relationships to sustain and expand your book of business. Foster new business prospects through networking, referrals, and active industry participation.
  • Legal Expertise: Deliver high-caliber legal advice in your specialization, ensuring client satisfaction and favorable outcomes. Manage intricate legal issues with a strategic and solution-focused mindset.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and nurture junior attorneys and support personnel. Collaborate with fellow partners and departments to provide holistic legal services to our clientele.
  • Strategic Growth: Play a vital role in the firm’s overall expansion and direction, including the identification of new practice areas or markets, and engagement in firm-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 10 years of legal practice with a demonstrated history in Insurance Recovery, Commercial Litigation, or Corporate and Finance.
  • Client Book: A transferable and verifiable book of business valued at $800K or more.
  • Education: JD from an accredited law school and active membership in the New York State Bar.
  • Skills: Exceptional business development capabilities, strong legal insight, and a collaborative approach. Ability to manage complex and high-stakes matters with professionalism and assurance.
