Position: Front of House/Customer Service and Beverage Cart Team Member

Department: Golf Operations

Classification: Seasonal

Compensation: $10-$15 per hour

Position Summary

As a vital representative of our establishment, you will be responsible for delivering a welcoming and exceptional experience for our guests. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager and Assistant Kitchen Manager, your role will focus on ensuring outstanding customer service, efficient operations, and a pleasant dining atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Assist guests with reservations, seating arrangements, and inquiries.
  • Accurately relay food and drink orders to the kitchen.
  • Operate the beverage cart, providing refreshments and snacks to golfers.
  • Engage with golfers in a courteous manner while providing prompt service.
  • Maintain inventory of beverages and supplies on the cart.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Keep detailed sales records and reconcile cash at the end of shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage cart.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on the cart.
  • Build rapport with golfers and assist with menu selections.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
  • Ensure attentive service throughout the dining experience.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff for seamless service.
  • Set up and maintain dining areas, ensuring cleanliness.
  • Efficiently clear and reset tables for incoming guests.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system for order input and payment processing.
  • Familiarize yourself with menu items and provide recommendations.
  • Communicate dietary preferences and special requests to the kitchen.
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings and training sessions.
  • Support a positive work environment.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in customer service or restaurant settings is preferred.
  • A genuine passion for delivering excellent service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Adherence to dress code and grooming standards.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Active Food Handler's Permit upon hiring.
  • Active Alcohol Service License.
