Position SummaryThe Customer Service Representative for Golf Operations plays a crucial role in delivering a welcoming and exceptional experience for all guests. This position encompasses responsibilities in both Front of House customer service and as a Beverage Cart team member. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager and Assistant Kitchen Manager, you will ensure outstanding service and efficient operations while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for dining.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Assist guests with reservations, seating, and inquiries.
- Accurately take and relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen.
- Operate the beverage cart, providing refreshments and light snacks to golfers.
- Engage with golfers in a courteous manner, ensuring prompt service.
- Maintain inventory of beverages and snacks on the cart.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Keep detailed sales records and reconcile cash at the end of shifts.
- Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage cart.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the cart.
- Build rapport with golfers and assist with menu selections.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff for seamless service.
- Set up and maintain dining areas, ensuring cleanliness.
- Operate the point-of-sale system for order processing.
- Provide recommendations and descriptions of menu items.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Previous experience in customer service or restaurant settings is advantageous.
- A genuine passion for delivering excellent service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Adherence to dress code and grooming standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
