Senior Reliability Engineer

JLL is seeking a highly skilled Senior Reliability Engineer to play a critical role in providing reliability engineering support for operations and maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, and equipment assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic asset management plan to integrate clients' existing systems, including National Operations Center (NOC), energy management programs, maintenance programs, and life-cycle asset management approach.
  • Conduct analysis to determine the reliability of components, equipment, and processes in accordance with JLL's enhanced Reliability & Asset Management program.
  • Acquire and analyze data from NOC and continually improve maintenance program strategy to meet outcomes-based performance measures.
  • Conduct ongoing maintenance maturity assessments to ensure progress to plan.
  • Oversee root cause failure analysis (RCFA) of equipment failures to determine the required corrective action for the situation.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Work under general direction of Engineering Services Reliability & Asset Management platform for instruction in deploying client's strategic asset management roadmap with matrix reporting back to the clients lead engineer (FM).
  • Integrate data from BAS, automated fault detection diagnostic engines, maintenance programs, and capital planning processes to develop life-cycle analyses and recommendations for repair vs. replacement decisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline, mechanical or electrical preferred.
  • 10+ years' experience implementing RCM, CbM/PdM methods, operating building automation and energy management systems, and thorough understanding of asset management, data analytics, and capital planning approaches.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial, critical, manufacturing, labs, or distribution facility types required.
  • Proven ability to read, comprehend, and apply information from technical manuals and other reference materials.
Certifications & Licenses:
  • Certified Reliability Leader is preferred.
  • Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional is preferred.
  • Level 2 thermography certification is preferred.
  • Level 2 vibration certification is preferred.
  • Level 2 ultrasound certification is preferred.
