Reliability Engineer

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering Services Reliability & Asset Management platform, you will play a critical role in implementing a strategic asset management plan to integrate clients' existing systems, including building automation, energy management, maintenance programs, and life-cycle asset management approaches.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a reliability engineering support plan to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of buildings, infrastructure, and equipment assets.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Services Reliability & Asset Management COE to integrate data from building automation systems, automated fault detection diagnostic engines, maintenance programs, and capital planning processes to develop life-cycle analyses and recommendations for repair vs. replacement decisions.
- Conduct program and system/equipment audits on a periodic and as needed basis to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, maintenance effectiveness, cost savings, and energy conservation.
- Support JLL operational compliance program and follow company safety and health guidelines and other company policies.
- Coordinate the use of other engineers, technicians, and third-party resources to accomplish the objective of cost-effective asset management & reliability improvements for maintenance and projects.
- Experience with reliability engineering, asset management, and maintenance programs.
- Strong understanding of building automation systems, automated fault detection diagnostic engines, and capital planning processes.
- Ability to analyze data and develop life-cycle analyses and recommendations for repair vs. replacement decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Experience with condition-based maintenance technologies, including vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasound, and motor current analysis.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis, equipment criticality ranking, PM/PdM optimization, defect elimination, and/or failure modes and effects analysis.
- Experience with workflow management and maintenance management systems.
