Job Summary

Talent Software Services is seeking a skilled Account Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing business with our existing client base and securing new customers to our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Service Branch Manager to identify and qualify prospects and clients to pursue, while meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals.
  • Develop a comprehensive business plan to illustrate the actions and development of the market growth, including sales order intake and gross margin portfolio management.
  • Engage with prospective clients to develop needs and ultimately sell automation system retrofits, existing building commissioning, optimization opportunities, and performance-based customized service contracts.
  • Proactively manage calendar to pre-plan customer visits, manage a business funnel, and provide accurate forecasting for projected sales and timing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or seven years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and maintenance sales experience.
  • Professional sales training is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Strong sales skills in prospecting, qualifying, proposing, and closing, with the ability to think outside the box and be innovative to create sales opportunities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
