Position Overview:
We are seeking a Fleet Operations Coordinator to become a vital part of our team.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with our commercial vehicle operators to guarantee the safe and efficient functioning of self-driving vehicles.

Your responsibilities will include preparing vehicles for trips, monitoring vehicle performance, documenting events, providing essential information to drivers, and assisting the fleet and operations teams.

  • Collaborate with Waabi engineers to ready vehicle systems for both manual and autonomous journeys.
  • Observe vehicle system performance from the front right seat during trips.
  • Document on-road occurrences during trips to enhance the autonomous vehicle system's performance.
  • Relay vehicle system data to the driver for comprehensive monitoring of vehicle behavior.
  • Work alongside the operations team to ensure effective and timely communication among drivers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist the operations team with vehicle system inspections, maintenance, and record-keeping.
  • Uphold a safe and organized working environment at the facility.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a related field, such as logistics or operations, is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • A collaborative team player with an open-minded approach and a desire to assist others.
  • Enthusiasm for supporting a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Additional Information:

  • This role does not involve driving and does not require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • The position entails sitting in a vehicle for extended periods, with occasional breaks for rest and meals.
  • The Fleet Operations Coordinator may need to work some weekends or holidays to support operations.
  • Travel may be necessary to assist with out-of-area vehicle trips.
  • Must be comfortable with late-night and weekend shifts.
