Position Overview:
We are in search of a Fleet Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with our commercial vehicle operators to guarantee the safe and efficient functioning of self-driving vehicles.

Your responsibilities will include preparing for vehicle journeys, monitoring vehicle performance, documenting events, providing essential information to the operators, and supporting the fleet and operations teams.

  • Collaborate with Waabi engineers to ready vehicle systems for both manual and autonomous operations.
  • Observe vehicle system performance from the front right seat during operational trips.
  • Document on-road occurrences during trips to enhance the performance of the autonomous vehicle system.
  • Supply vehicle system data to the operator to facilitate comprehensive monitoring of vehicle behavior.
  • Work alongside the operations team to ensure effective and timely communication among operators, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist the operations team with vehicle system inspections, maintenance, and record-keeping.
  • Uphold a safe and organized work environment at the facility.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a related field, such as logistics or operations, is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
  • Availability for flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Open-minded and collaborative team player with a readiness to assist others.

Additional Information:

  • This role does not involve driving and does not require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • The position entails sitting in a vehicle for extended periods, with occasional breaks for rest and meals.
  • The Fleet Operations Coordinator may be required to work on weekends or holidays to support operations.
  • Travel may be necessary to assist with out-of-area vehicle operations.
  • Must be comfortable with late-night and weekend shifts.
