Job Overview

The Site Installation Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing and directing personnel at various job sites while ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.

This role necessitates significant travel, approximately 90%, across the United States using company transportation. Valid identification for air travel is required in compliance with TSA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs daily operations and task assignments for site personnel.

Core Duties:

  • Manages production activities at designated job sites, acting as the primary representative for Crown Texas INC.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of operational processes and equipment in line with company standards.
  • Addresses and resolves issues that arise on-site, collaborating with the Construction Manager for complex challenges.
  • Coordinates necessary resources to ensure safe and efficient project execution based on workload demands.
  • Evaluates and verifies work quality to ensure compliance with blueprints and wiring schematics.
  • Works alongside the Construction Manager to monitor project timelines and communicates updates to team members as needed.
  • Completes all required documentation for site installations.
  • Assists with electrical and assembly tasks as required.
  • Provides insights to enhance departmental productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensures compliance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures among all employees.
  • Oversees complex site installation projects.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Basic proficiency with tools (e.g., tape measures, impact drills) and mathematical skills for technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for report and log completion.

Experience and Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in leading a team effectively.
  • At least 5 years of experience supervising site installation projects, manufacturing, fabrication, or a related field.
  • OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 General Certifications are mandatory.
  • Valid Driver's License and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check to operate company vehicles.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to navigate and inspect all areas of the job site in various weather conditions, which may involve walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 35 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity is required for assembling products or machinery as instructed.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination is essential.
  • Ability to distinguish between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
  • Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, and ear protection, while on the production floor and at job sites.
