Role Overview:

The HVAC Solutions Consultant is instrumental in fostering trust and loyalty between our clientele and Service Lion. This position not only focuses on closing sales but also on creating a lasting impression on customers. As a vital member of our enthusiastic team, you will drive revenue growth while ensuring that sales targets are met. Your primary responsibility will be to understand customer needs and collaborate with them to identify the most suitable solutions and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:

  • Act as the main point of contact between the customer and our operational team.
  • Build rapport with customers, establishing a foundation of trust to recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Develop strong customer relationships, effectively negotiating and finalizing sales agreements.
  • Prepare comprehensive and precise sales proposals, ensuring a smooth transition to the installation team.
  • Empower customers with complete and accurate information regarding our offerings and pricing.
  • Inspire enthusiasm among potential clients and encourage them to share their positive experiences.
  • Confirm preferred installation dates with customers and relay this information to the installation coordinator.
  • Take ownership of customer retention through diligent follow-up communications.

Product Knowledge:

No prior industry experience is required; we provide training. However, a willingness to learn is essential.

  • Complete an equipment replacement form with all necessary details, including heat loss calculations, equipment specifications, and approved installation locations.
  • Identify any additional tools or equipment required for the job.

Communication:

  • Relay job specifics to the Dispatch team and any financing details to the Finance team.
  • Collect initial payments for projects not financed, collaborating with finance for prompt collection.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in sales.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to assess job profitability and understand operational impacts.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong commitment to follow-through.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in presentations and public speaking.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and contemporary sales applications.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and ability to discuss company product lines.
  • Outgoing personality suited for a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a small company setting.
