Role Overview:
The Senior Energy Systems Analyst will collaborate closely with project managers and consultants to devise innovative solutions addressing the technical and economic challenges faced by our energy and utility clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive power system evaluations, focusing on both renewable and fossil fuel power generation facilities.
- Engage in power supply planning, performance assessments, and investment strategy development.

- Utilize engineering and financial principles to support planning and analytical tasks, contributing to the broader implications for client projects.
- Assist in the technical assessment of regulatory impacts on project initiatives.
- Support the design and modification of project documentation as required by project leads.
- Perform detailed analyses of power system operations, including stability, reliability, and economic dispatch.
- Utilize advanced power system software for transmission and distribution studies.
- Conduct risk assessments related to technical and business operations.
- Prepare and present detailed financial analyses and technical reports summarizing project findings.
- Contribute to client presentations and engineering reviews, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Participate in various utility consulting projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, business, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience in the energy sector.
- Strong foundational knowledge of engineering techniques and financial principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Leadership capabilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Active involvement in community or campus activities is a plus.
Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position is between $86,000 and $125,000, depending on individual qualifications and experience.
