We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Internal Medicine Coordinator to join our team at Friendship Hospital for Animals. As a key member of our Internal Medicine department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional client service and supporting our veterinarians in delivering top-notch care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule appointments and manage client communication
  • Generate and send referral letters to referring veterinarians
  • Provide accurate and timely information to clients regarding their pets' medical conditions and treatment options
  • Process incoming medical record documents and ensure seamless communication with our staff
  • Assist in the development of procedures to improve the quality and efficiency of our Internal Medicine service
  • Generate accurate estimates and assist clients with setting up additional referrals or acquiring special medications
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a veterinary hospital setting, with a focus on internal medicine preferred
  • Basic veterinary assistant or safe animal handling experience required
