Make a Difference in the Lives of Pets and Their Families

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Coordinator to join our Internal Medicine team at Friendship Hospital for Animals. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in facilitating internal and external referrals, providing exceptional client service, and working closely with our Internal Medicine technicians to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule appointments and manage client communication
  • Generate and send referral letters, ensuring timely and accurate information
  • Comfortably relay information from veterinarians to clients, demonstrating excellent communication skills
  • Process incoming medical record documents and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure referring veterinarians receive prompt return communication
  • Collaborate with FHA staff to develop procedures for improving communication efficiency
  • Generate accurate estimates and assist clients with referrals and special requests
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a veterinary hospital setting, with internal medicine experience preferred
  • Basic veterinary assistant or safe animal handling experience required
