Veterinary Internal Medicine Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Coordinator to join our Internal Medicine team at Friendship Hospital for Animals. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in facilitating internal and external referrals, providing exceptional client service, and working closely with our Internal Medicine technicians to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule appointments and manage client communication
- Generate and send referral letters, ensuring timely and accurate information
- Comfortably relay information from veterinarians to clients, demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Process incoming medical record documents and maintain accurate records
- Ensure referring veterinarians receive prompt return communication
- Collaborate with FHA staff to develop procedures and improve communication efficiency
- Generate accurate estimates and assist clients with referrals and special requests
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a veterinary hospital setting, with internal medicine experience preferred
- Basic veterinary assistant or safe animal handling experience required
- Competitive compensation ($23-$26/hour), negotiable based on skills and experience
