Veterinary Internal Medicine Customer Service Specialist

We are in search of a Coordinator to support our Internal Medicine team at Friendship Hospital for Animals. This position is essential in managing both internal and external referrals to our specialized services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage appointment scheduling and monitor incoming messages
  • Create and dispatch referral correspondence
  • Facilitate effective communication between veterinarians and clients
  • Handle incoming medical documentation and ensure prompt communication with referring veterinarians
  • Work alongside the Internal Medicine team to enhance communication processes
  • Assist clients with referral needs and special medication requests

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Capability to multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Team-oriented with strong computer proficiency
  • Experience in a veterinary clinic setting is mandatory
  • Basic Veterinary Assistant or animal handling experience is advantageous
