Michael's On The Hill, a top farm-to-table fine dining restaurant in northern Vermont, is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team.
About the JobThis is a full-time permanent position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience as a chef. As Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation, and maintaining health and safety standards.
Responsibilities- Lead the culinary team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Create menus that showcase local ingredients and exceed guest expectations.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive hotel success.
- 5+ years of experience as a chef.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Experience with menu planning and inventory management.
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including dental care, disability insurance, discounted or free food, extended health care, flexible schedule, paid time off, and vision care.
